A Solo Exhibition Curated and Created by Sacha Reid
Tallawah, a Jamaican patois word meaning strong, resilient, and not to be underestimated or taken lightly, is exactly the word that describes the Black Women that have greatly impacted Sacha’s life. Inspired by these women, Jamaican and Black culture, and the themes of representation, Sacha created pieces that represent the beauty of Black femininity and expressions of love through the lens of her own experiences. Through the thoughtful curation of her works, she cultivated an environment that inspired conversation and feelings of community, influenced by her visual narratives.
